Join us on Saturday, September 21, 2013 for the 3rd Annual "Sickle Cellebration in the Park", which includes our 8th Annual 5K Walk/Run, Health Fair and Multicultural Festival.
Sickle Cellebration in the Park is GBSCDA's signature event and part of an extensive educational campaign to raise funds and awareness about Sickle Cell Disease and Sickle Cell Trait.
There are hundreds of families in MA living with the burden of Sickle Cell Disease. Your participation will help to provide much needed resources to aid in providing patient services, scholarships, tutoring, advocacy, educational outreach and research.
This year's event will take place in Franklin Park
(across from the Lemuel Shattuck Hospital)located at,
1 Circuit Drive, Boston, MA.
The timeline for the event is as follows:
9:00AM - Registration
10:00AM - Warm up and Walk Kick Off
11:00Am - Health Fair and Multicultural Festival Begins
